Ballet

Girls: Pink tights

          Solid black leotard (all undergarments must be concealed)

          Pink ballet slippers

          Hair: Up and off the face and neck in a secure bun

 

Boys: Men’s tights, leggings or compression pants(solid black)  

          White t-shirt or tank top

          Black ballet shoes

          A dance belt for support

 

​Alternative:  Solid black leggings or compression pants

          Black or white t-shirt or tank top

          Black or pink ballet shoes

 

Jazz 

Girls: Solid black leotards (bra must be concealed)

          Black fitted bottoms (solid black)

          (stretch pants or compression pants)

          Black, pink, or tan tights (No cut off tights)

          Black split sole jazz shoes 

          Hair must be in a secured bun

 

Boys: Dance department t-shirt

          Black or white tank top or t-shirt

          Black bottoms – jazz pants or straight leg athletic pants(solid black)

          Black split sole jazz shoes 

          A dance belt (dance supporter)

Modern

          A dance belt (dance supporter)

          (Tights must be worn with ALL shorts)

          Hair must be in a secure ponytail or bun

 

Boys: Dance department t-shirt

          Black bottoms – jazz pants or athletic pants(solid black)

ALL DANCE CLASSES

For student safety all students have to wear support. Students assigned male at birth must wear a dance belt. Students assigned female at birth must wear a  sports bra, or binder for support.  

 

All undergarments must be concealed for boys and girls! Tights without holes! No shorts, hats, sweatpants, sweatshirts, or loose clothing! No jewelry is to be worn in class! Dancewear should never be worn to other classes.
