Capital Dance Project is an independent collective of professional dancers with a mission to uplift the spirit of the Sacramento community through the performing arts. ODC Dance Company (Based in San Francisco)
The company has been widely recognized for its fusion of ballet and modern techniques and for its numerous groundbreaking collaborations with, among others, writers Leslie Scalapino and Rinde Eckert; actors Bill Irwin, Geoff Hoyle and Robin Williams; and visual artists Wayne Thiebaud and Eleanor Coppola.
The Sacramento Ballet entertains, educates, inspires, and engages people through the powerful vehicle of dance.
The dedicated faculty, staff, and students in the Department of Theatre and Dance transform the stage into life. They study and weave together stories to create high caliber performances for the public's viewing pleasure.
