Positions of the Arms
First Position
Keep your hands the width of your face apart
Second Position
Elbows should be above hands
Demi Second
Similiar to seconde. However, in this position elbows should be facing down
Third Position
This is bringing one arm only in front of you, leaving the other in second position
Fourth Position
This is one arm raised in fifth and one arm in second
Crossed Fourth
High Fifth
make sure that it is your arms that are raised, and not your shoulders. Arms should be smooth with your elbows and hands softly rounded
Low Fifth
Arms should not be resting on body
